Two more people are now in custody in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.
These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.
Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several people injured by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
