Loyal followers of the actress are calling for that a person who leaped a fence and grabbed the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good launch be taken into custody or removed from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the Australian man pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by fans.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to appear on the following morning. It is unknown if he was charged.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a celebrity gathering. His Instagram profile contains videos of him interrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last winter.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is evidently a legal violation," commented an Instagram user, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her May 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Some attendees also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In footage circulating online, Grande looked startled when she was grabbed by the man. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has remained silent on the situation, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.
