Mohamed Salah Issues Statement to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah apologised to the entire Liverpool squad after the controversy from his televised remarks.

The striker was dropped from a European match following voicing frustrations and suggesting his relationship with manager had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The head coach has previously declined to disclose on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Looking Ahead
He emphasized that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
Jones also suggested that a teammate fighting for a place is preferable. “I understand there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just be on the bench, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
On-Field Response
Their results have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the initial controversy. He feels the outburst were not intended to destabilise the squad.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it has consistently come from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, performing and on a positive run.”
