The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative including angels, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in power within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of this adventure lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the initial group of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to embark on their own adventure, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group includes Teor (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, attacking Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, north of the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each adventurer has a individual motive to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the companion and closest confidant, desires revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • But, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could help the party access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city too risky:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

From episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Explorers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
